YOGA
Yoga a philosophy, or way of living, that yolks or unifies the body and the mind. This can be achieved through conscious breathing, mindful movement and intentional stillness. Yoga is an ancient healing art form that has been around us for thousands of years, and has been widely embraced as one of the best ways to calm the mind, build physical and emotional strength, reduce stress, improve focus and sharpen concentration. Practicing living our yoga, can not only help us enhance our overall well being, but it can also help us discover who we truly are.
Classes
scheduling & pricing:
Classes operate on a sliding scale payment system, ranging from $10 to $20 per session. Since spots are limited, we highly recommend signing up online in advance to secure your place. While drop-ins are welcome, availability is not guaranteed. Payment can be made at class through cash, check, Venmo, or credit card.
Parking
The studio is conveniently located in Hyde Park Village. Please park on the street directly in front of our building. If there is no parking, you may park in any of the public parking spaces on Church Street or Main Street.
Please DO NOT park in the Post Office Parking lot or across the street in front of the neighbors homes.

Ashtanga primary series(90min)
Ashtanga is a beautiful, strong, and disciplined practice that offers a well-defined and set sequence of postures. It emphasizes core elements such as pranayama (breath control), bandhas (energy locks), and asana (postures) to cultivate a deep mind-body connection. Students will be carefully guided through essential poses designed to strengthen both the body and mind, promoting increased confidence, stamina, strength, stability, and flexibility over time.
Ashtanga Short Form (60min)
Like the Ashtanga Primary Series, this practice focuses on the same basic elements but in a shorter, easier format. It helps prepare the body and mind while slowly building endurance for the Primary Series. This way, practitioners can build strength without feeling overwhelmed.
Gentle Vinyasa (60min)
A joyful and uplifting way to start your morning. This gentle vinyasa practice moves at a slower, calming pace, giving you plenty of time to smoothly transition from one posture to the next. It offers a wonderful opportunity to build strength, improve stability, and enhance flexibility in your body. As you move through this sequence, feel yourself come alive, energized and centered, leaving the session feeling refreshed, renewed, and empowered for the day ahead.
Inner harmony (30min)
Our seated morning practice combines meditation, mantra, and pranayama to foster harmony. Start with meditation for calm, repeat mantras to focus, then pranayama to boost energy. This routine cultivates peace, clarity, and vitality, setting a centered, energized tone for your day. You'll need a yoga mat and a comfortable seat like a bolster, block, or cushion.
Restorative Yoga (60min)
A practice centered on deep, restorative relaxation, using supported poses combined with focused meditation techniques. Various props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets assist the body in releasing tension by relaxing muscles, joints, and energy channels. Sessions typically begin with grounding meditation, calming breathing exercises, and reflective journaling to cultivate mindfulness, gradually transitioning into gentle, restorative poses that promote deep rest, healing, and overall well-being.
Vinyasa (60min)
This class offers an active and engaging sequence of postures aimed at helping you find grounding and connection through mindful movement paired with focused breath awareness. Featuring a diverse range of postures, it is particularly well-suited for those seeking variety and renewed energy to their practice. This practice seeks to improve strength, endurance, stability, and flexibility.
