YOGA
Yoga is a philosophy, or way of living, and in Sanskrit means to: yolk or unify the body and the mind. This “union” can be achieved through the regular practice of the 8 limbs. The practice of yoga is an ancient healing art form that has been around for thousands of years. We do our best to honor its Indian and Southeast Asia roots, revering it as a spiritual practice to calm the mind, building mental strength and endurance, helping us to manage stress with mindfulness, improve focus and sharpen concentration. Practicing living our yoga takes time, dedication and discipline. If we seek to discover who we truly are, we must practice. When you arrive to our studio, know that we value creating peaceful sanctuary for one another. The practice of yoga should be embraced as a way towards self discovery, not simply an exercise routine to check off the to-do list. We appreciate all, and all are welcome here. Please come as you are.
